We at Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Caerphilly area, serving over 700 students. The Humanities Department is committed to promoting openness, impartiality, and respect for others. In this role, you will provide students with meaningful opportunities to explore diverse ideas, fostering a deeper understanding of various beliefs and practices. Responsibilities

-          Plan and deliver lessons in Humanities, following the curriculum for KS3, KS4 and KS5

-          Encourage students to analyse, evaluate and critically engage with their studies

-          Assess student progress through assessment, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback

-          Stay updated with developments in the humanities field and education best practices, contributing to the improvement of the department

-          Support a diverse learning needs

What we’re looking for

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT)

-          In-depth knowledge of Religious Studies, History, and/or Geography

-          A strong passion for Humanities with a dedication to helping students succeed

-          Flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm for contributing to the broader school community
