Humanities Teacher New

Three R's Teacher Recruitment are working with an Independent school between Rochester/Gravesend who are seeking a dynamic Humanities Teacher to join their exceptional team. Engaging students with History from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, and Geography at Key Stage 3, this role also offers the opportunity to teach Politics at A level, and Geography and Global Perspectives at KS4 – an ideal position for an educator who seeks both professional growth and to contribute to the broader life of a vibrant independent school community.

Responsibilities of Humanities Teacher: 

• Deliver engaging lessons in History (KS3 to KS5) and Geography (KS3).
• Teach Politics A level, KS4 Geography, and KS4 Global Perspectives (advantageous but not required).
• Contribute to pastoral and co-curricular activities, including serving as a Tutor.
• Support students' learning beyond the classroom, building essential skills for their educational journey and future careers.
• Cultivate strong, respectful relationships between school, students, and families.

Requirements of Humanities Teacher: 

• Degree in a relevant Humanities subject and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching History at KS3-KS5; additional ability to teach Politics A level and KS4 Geography/Global Perspectives is an advantage.
• Enthusiasm for developing students’ learning skills and engagement across the curriculum.
• Commitment to enhancing student well-being and a willingness to actively participate in co-curricular school life.

Salary: M1-M6 payscale, based on experience
