Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with a College based In Cambridge. They are looking for an experienced and passionate Trainer/Assessor ICT to join their dedicated team.

The primary purpose of this job role is to:

  • Take overall responsibility for an agreed caseload of learners to provide high quality training, coaching, mentoring, instruction and assessment to learners to achieve their apprenticeship and/or qualification in a timely manner. 
  • Act as main point of contact for employers and learners, creating positive relationships with employers to support in the training and development of learners and, providing feedback on progress as required.
  • Provide high quality training, coaching, instruction and assessment to learners both in College and in their place of work as appropriate. 
  • Initially assess the learners to determine their readiness for the apprenticeship programme, and to establish an individual learning plan to support their progression through the programme.
  • Ensure that assessment of learner’s starting points is used in planning and sequencing their learning regarding English, Maths and KSB’s. 
  • Design and agree training plans in the appropriate area, providing support to learners to meet the content of the EPA. Ensure the learner programme is flexible to meet formative and summative assessment in order to respond to individual needs. 

Qualifications

   must have one of the below as will not be considered without:

  • Level 3 relevant vocational qualification and relevant vocational CPD
  • Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (or equivalent, A1, etc)
  • Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification
