A highly reputable independent SEN school in Windsor is seeking a dedicated and passionate KS3/4 IT Teacher to join their permanent staff starting from September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and innovative educator to become part of a dynamic team committed to providing exceptional education and support to students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality IT lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring all lessons are engaging and accessible.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching IT at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of working with students with special educational needs.
  • Strong knowledge of the IT curriculum and current educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.

Desirable:

  • Additional qualifications or training in special educational needs.
  • Experience with assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools.
  • Creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
