Job Opportunity: Inclusion Manager

Purpose:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with autism? We are seeking an Inclusion Manager to lead the Autism Base and manage a team of Teaching Assistants (TAs), ensuring high-quality learning support through classroom assistance and small group interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Autism Base under the direction of the SENCo.
- Lead and support TAs in fostering students' academic and emotional development.
- Oversee personal care, exam access arrangements, and provide support during school trips as needed.
- Ensure smooth transitions for students from feeder schools to the Autism Base.
- Write and maintain Pupil Profiles, monitor social progress, and manage baseline testing.
- Attend review meetings, produce reports, and ensure the availability of specialist resources.
- Monitor student attendance and organise team meetings for staff development.
- Collaborate with departments and external agencies to support inclusion initiatives.
Reporting to:Director of Learning Support and Inclusion (SENCo)
Responsible for:A team of Teaching Assistants
Working Time:37 hours per week, term-time plus 10 days (including 5 Professional Development Days)
