Position: Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher 

Contract Type: Part-Time (3 days per week) 

Start Date: November 2024

Are you passionate about helping children succeed and thrive in their education? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is pivotal in providing focused support to pupils in preparation for their Key Stage 2 SATs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver targeted intervention sessions for Key Stage 2 pupils, focusing on English and Maths.

- Support pupils in small groups or 1:1 to boost attainment and confidence ahead of SATs.

- Work closely with class teachers to identify pupil needs and tailor intervention plans.

- Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.

- Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and needs.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

- Experience in teaching Key Stage 2, with a solid understanding of the National Curriculum.

- A strong understanding of SATs expectations and preparation strategies.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage pupils.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
