Do you have a passion for teaching Literacy?
A school based in Coleshill are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant who will lead Literacy and reading interventions across both KS1 and KS2.
The role is full time, September start.
Role and responsibilities:
- Completing and leading intervention sessions focusing on Literacy and reading.
- Supporting children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required.
- Ensuring children’s individual progress is monitored and recorded.
- Work closely with the class teacher to ensure that children are receiving the best possible education.
- Support with planning and preparation of focus sessions.
Ideal applicants should:
- Hold a minimum of a level 3 relevant qualification.
- Have experience leading intervention sessions and be confident with the Literacy national curriculum.
- Show an uplifting and positive role model to all children.
