Intervention Support

Teaching Personnel has been approached by a primary SEN provision in Chorley to welcome intervention support for their core subjects. Within this role you will provide extra education and support to help students progress academically. This will be within a 1:1 or small group capacity.

The provision is a secondary specialist provision and caters for children with SEN additional needs. The pupils struggle within a mainstream capacity and therefore, need extra support academically and emotionally.

Previous experience within this role is essential.

Skills required:

 

  • Appreciate students as individuals.
  • Tailor resources for individual needs.
  • Integrate IT into your lessons.
  • Good at explaining concepts.
  • An excellent role-model.
  • Help students progress.

Contract:

  • Part-time and full-time roles.
  • Monday – Friday 8am – 12pm.
  • November 2024 start.
