Are you an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners? [School Name] is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Intervention Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted support for Year 5 & 6 pupils, helping them achieve their full potential.

  • Plan and deliver focused interventions in English and Maths to small groups or individual pupils to support their academic progress.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to identify learning gaps and tailor intervention strategies that address the needs of each child.
  • Provide additional support for pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) as required.
  • Monitor pupil progress, maintain records, and provide feedback to teachers and parents where appropriate.
  • Create a positive, nurturing learning environment where pupils feel supported and motivated to succeed.
  • Assist with classroom activities when needed to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (minimum) is essential.
  • Previous experience working within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 & 6 preferred).
  • A strong understanding of the primary school curriculum, particularly in English and Maths.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to meeting the diverse needs of children, including those with additional learning challenges.

Working Hours: 1pm - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
