The school is committed to fostering a respectful, caring, and inclusive environment where both staff and students are encouraged to aspire, achieve, and grow together.

As the IT teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring that all pupils are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. • Classroom Management: You will create a positive and productive learning environment, using effective classroom management techniques to keep students focused, motivated, and engaged.

  • Collaboration with Colleagues: You will work closely with other teachers and support staff, sharing best practices, contributing to the wider school community, and working together to improve outcomes for students across the academy.

  • Building Positive Relationships: You will be a compassionate and approachable teacher who builds trusting relationships with pupils, supporting their academic and personal development, while instilling a love for learning IT.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS and be eligible to work as a teacher in the UK.

  • Experience: At least 6 months of UK-based educational experience, ideally teaching IT at secondary level. Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is highly desirable.

  • Subject Knowledge: A solid understanding of the IT curriculum, with the ability to deliver engaging lessons on programming, data management, computing systems, and digital literacy.

  • Commitment to Inclusion: A strong belief in the value of inclusive education, with the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.

  • Passion for Teaching: You will be a compassionate, dedicated, and patient teacher with a genuine desire to inspire and develop the next generation of IT professionals.

  • Team Player: You will be a collaborative individual who works well within a team, sharing ideas, resources, and best practices with colleagues.
