Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant eager to take the next step in your career? Do you want to make a difference in a supportive environment focused on Special Educational Needs (SEN)? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you at a nurturing school in Stoke that is seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for students with additional SEN needs, particularly those with autism awareness.

In this role, you will work closely with pupils who may struggle to adjust to a mainstream classroom setting. Your focus will be on providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and socially. You should be comfortable working with early years students, managing their behavior effectively while ensuring they feel safe and supported in their learning environment. Additional guidance will be available as needed to help you succeed in this role.

We are looking for candidates who have experience working one-on-one with students with additional needs and a solid understanding of the challenges faced by pupils unfamiliar with a mainstream classroom. Familiarity with safeguarding practices in a primary school context is essential, as is experience working with KS1 students.

This full-time position offers competitive PAYE rates of £85 to £90 per day, with weekly pay provided through school timesheets. The school is conveniently located in Stoke, making it easily accessible, and you will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule. An immediate start is available following registration with our team.
