Key Stage 2 Teacher

As a KS2 Teacher for a Y5/6 class, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of young learners, providing engaging lessons and fostering a positive learning environment. This role encompasses all the usual teacher duties, including planning, marking, and actively engaging with parents evenings and report writing.

The ideal KS2 Teacher will possess:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching in KS2 settings, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
• Adaptive teaching techniques to sufficiently teach the curriculum to a Y5/6 mixed class. 
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
