Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our exceptional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our Key Stage 2 students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes effective learning and encourages respect and good behaviour.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement schemes of work and share best practices.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Desirable:

  • Experience with or training in inclusive education practices.
  • Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • A passion for a particular subject or extracurricular activity that could enrich our school’s offerings.
