Calling all Primary School Teachers in Boston!

Teaching Personnel are urgently seeking a confident Primary Teacher, able to work across all Key Stages, at our schools in the Boston area. You will be providing skilled cover for class teachers absences due to illness, meetings, training, PPA & other planned/unplanned needs.

 

The Role Itself

As you will be teaching across all key stages, it is essential that the ideal candidate we’re looking for has a fun, creative & engaging persona, capable of implementing tailored learning strategies for every child’s needs.

You will be competent and confident in forming a welcoming, friendly, and safe environment - in which children can grow and learn. Accompanied with being an excellent communicator, having an all-embracing teaching style is a must.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate & stimulate a child's learning abilities, often learning through engaging activities
  • Develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources
  • Encourage creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing & imaginative play
  • Observe, assess and record each child's progress
  • Ensure the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all activities
  • Assist with the development of a child's personal, social, and physical coordination abilities
  • Share knowledge gained with other practitioners to build & maintain relationships
  • Keep up to date with changes in the curriculum and developments in best practice

 

Qualification and Vetting

The successful candidate will be required to show proof of appropriate qualification for the post (UK QTS certification) and ECT’s are welcome to apply.

Successful candidates must provide details (when requested) of appropriate referee’s and consent to being subject to ‘Child Only’ DBS checks as per our vetting procedures.

 

Salary & Working Hours

The rate of pay will depend on experience, but Teaching Personnel can guarantee a price match against any other agency – ensuring your trust in us representing you, stays at an all-time high!

 

Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)

Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections, and parent consultations.
