We are thrilled to offer an incredible opportunity for an experienced EYFS/KS1 Teacher to join our Triscombe Class (Reception and Year 1) at Stogursey Church of England Primary School. This means you’ll benefit from expert advice and bespoke training to help manage the specific SEN needs of your pupils. Other external companies, such as PhonicsPlay and Little Wandle Letters and Sounds, will also be on hand to support your classroom teaching.

• Small class size: You’ll be teaching a close-knit group of 23 children, many with high levels of special educational needs (SEN). With the help of 4 additional Teaching Assistants, you’ll have the support you need to ensure each child can flourish.
• Flexibility in Employment: This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose between a temporary-to-permanent placement through Teaching Personnel or a direct permanent school contract. Both options ensure you have the security and stability to focus on what matters most—teaching.
• Salary: Competitive pay based on the Main Pay Scale (MPS from M2) up to UPS1, with opportunities to negotiate further depending on experience (up to UPS2 or UPS3).

To help you feel confident in joining us, we’re happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with the Headteacher and team, especially for those relocating. This gives you the chance to explore the school, meet the SEN specialists and classroom team, and experience the environment first-hand before making any commitment.
