£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide individualised academic support to Key Stage 1 (KS1) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create and implement tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance learning outcomes
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with SEN students
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching SEN students at the Key Stage 1 level

  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and techniques
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Proficiency in assessing student progress and adjusting lesson plans accordingly

The role of KS1 SEN Tutor is based in the learners home environment. The tutor will work closely with students, school staff, and parents to provide effective support and guidance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
