Position: KS1 Classroom Teacher
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2024
Status: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience

An Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Watford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Classroom Teacher to join their committed staff team from September 2024. Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
*Create a positive learning environment that encourages pupil participation and collaboration.
*Support the social and emotional well-being of students.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance the educational experience.

Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Experience teaching in KS1.
*A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
*Excellent classroom management skills.
*Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
*Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
*Commitment to ongoing professional development and school improvement.

Desirable Qualities:
*Experience with special educational needs (SEN) provision.
*A creative approach to teaching and learning.
*Proven ability to work as part of a team.
