An Ofsted rated GOOD primary school in Banbury is seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher to join their permanent staff team from September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in the KS1 phase.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of pupils, ensuring they meet or exceed their targets.
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and fosters the development of each child.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of pupils.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in KS1, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • A proactive and reflective approach to teaching, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
