  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting

  • Strong understanding of child development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
  • Organisational and time-management skills
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Previous experience working in a diverse classroom setting
  • Work in a school setting with regular classroom hours
  • Potential for additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities
  • Collaborative work environment with other educators and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
