Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary school in the OL2 who are seeking to recruit a KS1 teacher due to scheduled staff absences. This will be a full-time position, 8.30-3.30 Mondy-Friday, starting immediately for the rest of the 2024 academic year.
As a KS1 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons that meet the needs of KS1 students and align with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate
- Differentiating instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of your students
- Assessing student progress through various formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development
- Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community
- Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the school community
Requirements for the role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience teaching KS1 students preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
- Up-to-date DBS on the Update Service – or be willing to get one through Teaching Personnel.
