Adynamic and forward-thinking primary school in Slough, rated Good by OFSTED, is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their permanent teaching staff starting in January 2025 (or sooner if available). This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to contribute to a welcoming, supportive, and collaborative school environment.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils, ensuring every child makes progress.
  • Work closely with the KS1 team and senior leadership to maintain the school’s high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
  • Support pupils’ individual needs, tracking progress and providing additional assistance where necessary.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Proven experience teaching KS1, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners and a commitment to delivering outstanding education.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to professional development.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding practices.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a diverse school setting.
  • Experience or training in phonics and early literacy development.
