A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Chelmsford, currently rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) teacher to join its permanent teaching team from January 2025 – or sooner for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the diverse needs of KS1 pupils.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and encourage a love for learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Proven experience teaching within KS1, with a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality education and supporting the development of the whole child.
  • A positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to working in a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for inspiring young minds and supporting their academic and emotional growth.

Desirable:

  • Experience using assessment tools and tracking pupil progress effectively.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
