Education and Training

£140 - £180 Per day

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive learning environment conducive to the academic and social development of students
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school events as required
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and support student learning

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in Key Stage 1

  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Work primarily in a classroom setting
  • Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work required for school events
  • Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
