  • Provide 1:1 tutoring and support to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the learning styles and abilities of the students.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for the students.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEN.
  • Knowledge of SEN educational strategies and interventions.

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Understanding of SEN Code of Practise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Training in specific interventions for SEN students.
  • Work primarily in the learners home.
  • May require travel to different locations within the East of England.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
