Are you a passionate educator looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds? Our vibrant North Somerset based primary school is seeking a dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher to join our dynamic team after Easter ideally.

Position: Primary Teacher, KS2. Either Year 5 or year 6.
Location: Minehead, Somerset
Salary: Pay scale M1-M6+ (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:
As a KS2 Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that foster a love of learning and promote academic progress. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (experience preferred but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
