  • Assist in delivering high-quality learning support to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students
  • Provide one-to-one assistance to students with learning tasks
  • Support the class teacher in the implementation of educational programmes
  • Help create a positive learning environment for students
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Prior experience working with children in an educational setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Good organisational skills
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

This role involves working within a school environment, following the school term calendar and daily timetable. The successful candidate may be required to support students with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
