  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for Key Stage 2 children
  • Assess and evaluate pupils' progress, providing feedback to children, parents, and school leadership
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and resources
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse pupil population
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Participation in relevant professional development courses or training

This role involves working Monday to Friday within school hours, with occasional additional hours for lesson planning and assessment. The teacher will be based in a classroom setting within a primary school in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
