Position: Full-Time, Permanent

An Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Eastleigh is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join their permanent staff team from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to make a positive impact in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

The Role:

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 2.
  • Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to support development.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s academic and personal growth.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 2 or have relevant training.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Be passionate about delivering creative and engaging lessons.
  • Show excellent classroom management skills.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school's positive culture.
