A vibrant and welcoming Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school located in Watford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their supportive and dynamic team on a permanent basis starting in January 2025 (or earlier if available). This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for education and a commitment to nurturing and inspiring young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across KS2, following the national curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Previous experience teaching in KS2 is preferred but not required for outstanding candidates.
  • A proven ability to inspire and engage pupils with creative and innovative teaching methods.
  • Strong classroom management skills, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to the school’s ethos and values, promoting inclusion and high standards of achievement for all students.
