An Ofsted-rated "Good" primary school located in Chelmsford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join their welcoming and supportive staff team on a permanent basis from January 2025, with the possibility of an earlier start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Support the development of children’s learning, social, and emotional skills.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Regularly assess and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching within KS2, with a proven track record of raising pupil achievement.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Be passionate about inclusive education, catering to the needs of all learners.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills, working effectively with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • Be committed to their own professional development and continuous improvement.
