An OFSTED-rated "Good" primary school in the heart of Slough is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join its permanent teaching staff from January 2025, or sooner if available. The school is well-established within the local community, offering a supportive environment where both staff and pupils thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Key Stage 2
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities in line with the national curriculum
  • Support the academic and personal development of all pupils
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure student progress
  • Take an active role in the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and school events

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Be passionate about delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Be resilient, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have a clear understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to ensuring the well-being of all students
