A thriving, Ofsted-rated "Good" primary school in the heart of Richmond is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join their permanent staff team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons across the KS2 curriculum that meet the needs of all learners.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupils’ social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Use a range of assessment methods to monitor pupil progress and tailor learning accordingly.
- Work effectively as part of a team, contributing to curriculum planning and the wider school community.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and carers, offering support and guidance where needed.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching KS2, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons.
- A passion for inspiring young learners and a commitment to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
- Excellent behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
- A proactive, flexible approach and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
- An understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
