Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons across the KS2 curriculum that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupils’ social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Use a range of assessment methods to monitor pupil progress and tailor learning accordingly.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, contributing to curriculum planning and the wider school community.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and carers, offering support and guidance where needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching KS2, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners and a commitment to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • A proactive, flexible approach and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • An understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
