An Ofsted-rated "Good" primary school in Essex is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their permanent staff team from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school, committed to delivering high-quality education and making a positive impact on pupils' academic and personal development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in KS2.
  • Be committed to providing engaging, high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students.
  • Have excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and demonstrate strong planning and assessment skills.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures and inspires pupils to reach their full potential.
  • Be committed to promoting the school's ethos and values, and work collaboratively with the wider school community, including parents and support staff.
  • Demonstrate effective behaviour management strategies and a positive attitude towards pupil wellbeing and safeguarding.
  • Be enthusiastic about continuous professional development and willing to contribute to whole-school initiatives and activities.

Desirable requirements:

  • Prior experience working with SEN or EAL pupils.
  • A willingness to take on additional responsibilities, with potential opportunities for a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) for suitable candidates.
  • Experience using innovative teaching methods, including technology in the classroom.
