Teaching Personnel have an amazing opportunity to work with an outstanding school based in Cambridge, they are looking for experienced and dedicated KS2 Teachers for year 3&4.

Main Responsibilities

  • Teach a class in a year group suited to your interests and experience and to the needs of the school.
  • Work within a philosophical framework that supports and enhances the ethos and climate of the school as stated within the jointly agreed aims.
  • Teach within and have a good knowledge of school curriculum guidelines and policies, making appropriate use of these in conjunction with statutory obligations, to provide a broad balanced relevant and differentiated curriculum for all children.
  • Use a variety of teaching styles appropriate to the learning situation that enhance and facilitate a learning environment.
  • Work closely with academy based and county mentors, to ensure individual needs are met and to attend regular meetings.
  •  Ensure that teaching methods and practice are reviewed.
  • Take part in in-service training and take steps to ensure your own professional development plan is implemented.

Training & Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Evidence of continuing and recent professional development relevant to the post
  • The knowledge and understanding of current theory and best practice in learning and teaching, particularly as this relates to high attainment and progress.
  • Understanding of a diverse range of teaching and learning styles and techniques.
  • Good understanding of the importance of culture and ethos and how this impacts on morale, high expectation and high standards

Location

This school is based in Cambridge, close to public transport. Parking will be available on site.
