KS2 Teaching Assistant

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS9 

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

£77 - £95 Per day

• Supporting the KS2 teacher in delivering lessons
• Assisting with classroom management
• Working with individual pupils or small groups to support learning
• Preparing and setting up resources for lessons
• Providing feedback on pupil progress to the teacher

• GCSEs in English and Maths
• Relevant experience working with children

Minimum of GCSE level education

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Understanding of child development
• Patience and empathy

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid training

• Working hours are typically during school hours
• May involve some additional hours for lesson preparation
• Work is mainly classroom-based

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
