Education and Training

£77 - £95 Per day

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging educational activities for Key Stage 2 children
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of lessons and learning materials
  • Providing one-to-one support to pupils who require additional help
  • Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with the assessment and tracking of pupil progress
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • A relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting

  • Understanding of Key Stage 2 curriculum and teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
  • Full-time hours on a temporary basis
  • Working in a primary school environment
  • Potential for additional training and professional development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
