The school:

A reputable school based in Kirkdale (L5) is currently looking to employ a Teaching Assistant, with the role itself being based within Year 3. As a Teaching Assistant, you would take part in supporting and guiding the learning process of children throughout the class alongside assisting the class teacher in management and supervision of the classroom. The role itself would be ideal for someone passionate about working within children and would also provide an excellent opportunity for someone looking to acquire additional teaching experience.

The Role:

The school is OFSTED rated GOOD and holds an enviable position within the local area as a school that offers excellent opportunities for both pupils and staff alike. As a school with just over 200 pupils, it prides itself on its tight-knit and community-driven spirit and would be an ideal setting for someone looking to gain experience in a welcoming and supportive environment. The school offers an ambitious curriculum for its pupils – including those with SEND. The proportion of pupils who are disabled or have special educational needs is twice the national average, therefore experience of working with SEND would be an advantage, however this is not essential.
