Position: Intervention Teaching Assistant (KS2)

Contract: January 2025 - June 2025 (potential for extension)

Working Days: Part-time, Wednesday to Friday (full days)

Location: Nelson (BB9)

Are you passionate about helping children succeed in their learning journey? We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team, supporting Key Stage 2 students in their preparation for SATs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to small groups and individual students, focusing on English and Maths to boost confidence and attainment.
• Work closely with the class teacher to identify key areas for development and implement effective intervention strategies.
• Support students with differentiated activities, helping them to reach their full potential.
• Track student progress and adapt interventions as needed to ensure success in SATs.

What we are looking for:

• Experience working with KS2 students, ideally with a focus on SATs preparation.
• Level Teaching Assistant
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and supportive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
