The KS3 1:1 English and Maths SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level. Duties include creating individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, tracking student progress, and collaborating with other educational professionals to ensure student success.

- Recognised teaching qualification

- Experience working with students with SEN

- Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN

- Proficiency in assessing students' needs and adapting teaching strategies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to create engaging and accessible learning materials

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education

- Experience using assistive technology in teaching

- Additional training in behaviour management strategies

- Work in a learners home setting

- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

- Collaborative work with other educators and support staff

- Adherence to school policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
