Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive English and Maths tutoring sessions to KS3 students
  • Develop tailored lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs of students
  • Provide support and guidance to students to enhance their understanding of key concepts
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Keep accurate records of student attendance, performance, and feedback

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialisation in English and Maths education
  • Experience working with KS3 students

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
  • Experience in delivering outreach programmes preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Work may involve travel to different school locations within the East of England
