The KS3 English and Maths Tutor will be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring to Key Stage 3 students in English and Maths. Duties include preparing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and providing feedback to students and parents. The tutor will also collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for all students.

- Relevant qualifications in English and Maths

- Teaching experience in Key Stage 3

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to motivate and inspire students

- Knowledge of the KS3 curriculum

A degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at Key Stage 3 level

- Proficiency in English and Maths

- Excellent classroom management skills

- Familiarity with educational technology

- Ability to tailor lessons to meet individual student needs

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Experience working with diverse student populations

- Additional qualifications in Special Education Needs (SEN)

The role of KS3 English and Maths Tutor will involve working in a learners home environment, with regular hours during term time. The tutor may need to adapt to the individual learning styles and needs of students, and attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
