£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 Looked After Children (LAC)
  • Create engaging lesson plans and educational materials
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to support students' academic development
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge in English and Maths curriculum for Key Stage 3
  • Experience working with Looked After Children

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role

  • Strong understanding of Key Stage 3 English and Maths curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Organisational skills to maintain detailed student records
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Work in a care home setting with Key Stage 3 Looked After Children
  • Full-time hours, temporary position
  • Potential for additional responsibilities related to student support and academic guidance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
