Education and Training

£20 - £30 per hour

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on student's needs and abilities
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with SENCO and other professionals to support student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN

  • Understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience in conducting assessments and writing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

This role involves working with students in an educational setting, following school hours and term dates. Some flexibility may be required to accommodate student needs and meetings with parents or professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
