Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide educational support to Key Stage 3 (KS3) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Deliver tailored outreach tutoring sessions based on individual student needs
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans to enhance student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN

  • Understanding of the UK curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance learning experiences

This role involves working with students in various educational settings, including schools, community centres and their homes. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate student schedules. Travel within the East of England region may be necessary for outreach sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
