£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide tailored support and assistance to Key Stage 3 (KS3) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting
  • Develop and deliver individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and feedback
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practises

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience in a teaching or tutoring role

  • Strong understanding of the UK education system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience in working in an outreach or community setting
  • Work will primarily be conducted in a learners home setting
  • May involve travel to different locations within the East of England

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
