£20 - £30 Per hour

The KS3 SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing specialised support and assistance to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs. Duties include developing individualised learning plans, delivering tailored lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other education professionals to ensure the academic and personal development of students.

- Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)

- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)

- Enhanced DBS check

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SEN students in an educational setting

- Strong understanding of SEN principles and best practises

- Ability to develop and implement individualised learning strategies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources

- Master's degree in Special Education or related field

- Additional training in specific SEN areas

The KS3 SEN Tutor will work in a 1:1 setting, collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents to support the needs of SEN students. The role may involve some flexibility in working hours to accommodate student schedules and meetings with other professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
