Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide one-to-one or small group tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' strengths and weaknesses
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students in their academic progress
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of the KS3 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN

  • Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students with diverse needs
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
  • Experience using assistive technology to support student learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
