£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide individualised English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student performance
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with SEN students
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a SEN setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education or related field
  • Experience using assistive technology to support SEN students
  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
