Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans to support students in reaching their academic goals
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students with SEN

  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills to manage individual student progress effectively

This role involves working with students in a classroom or home setting. The tutor may need to adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with varying needs and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
