Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised lesson plans to meet the specific learning needs of each student
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' academic development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN

  • Strong understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process
  • Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning
  • Specialist SEN training or qualification
  • Experience in conducting assessments and creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling
  • Work may involve travel to students' homes or educational institutions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
